Journal of New Technology and Materials welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts in materials science, materials engineering, nanoscience, nanotechnology, and related areas of new technology. Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that present original research results, significant technical developments, review studies, theoretical work, experimental investigations, or applied research relevant to the aims and scope of the journal.
All manuscripts must be submitted by email to the editorial office.
Submission Email

The submission email should include the complete manuscript as a PDF file together with a cover letter. The cover letter is a mandatory part of the submission.
Submissions sent without a cover letter will be treated as incomplete and may not be acknowledged, processed, or reviewed by the editorial office.
Initial Submission Requirements
At the initial submission stage, authors must send the following files:
- Complete manuscript as a PDF file;
- Cover letter addressed to the editorial office.
The manuscript PDF should be complete, clear, and readable. It should include the title, author names, affiliations, abstract, keywords, main text, figures, tables, references, declarations, and any other required information.
Authors should ensure that all figures, tables, equations, symbols, and references are properly presented in the submitted PDF file.

Authors are advised to use a clear subject line when submitting a manuscript. The recommended format is:

Cover Letter
A cover letter must be submitted with every new manuscript. The cover letter should briefly introduce the manuscript and confirm that the submission complies with the journal’s ethical and editorial requirements.
The cover letter should include:
- Full title of the manuscript;
- Name, affiliation, and email address of the corresponding author;
- Brief explanation of the originality and importance of the work;
- Statement confirming that the manuscript is original;
- Statement confirming that the manuscript has not been published previously;
- Statement confirming that the manuscript is not under consideration by another journal;
- Confirmation that all authors have approved the submission;
- Disclosure of any conflict of interest;
- Funding information, where applicable;
- Ethical approval information, where applicable;
- Statement confirming that the authors agree with the journal’s open access and copyright policies.
The cover letter should be written professionally and should explain why the manuscript is suitable for publication in Journal of New Technology and Materials.
Manuscript File
The manuscript should be submitted as a single PDF file at the initial submission stage. The PDF file should contain all essential parts of the manuscript and should be prepared carefully before submission.
The manuscript should normally include:

Submission Conditions
By submitting a manuscript to Journal of New Technology and Materials, authors confirm that:
- The manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere;
- The manuscript is not currently under review by another journal;
- All authors have read and approved the submitted version;
- All authors agree to submit the manuscript to the journal;
- The work complies with applicable ethical standards;

Incomplete Submissions
A submission will be considered incomplete if the required files or information are missing.
Incomplete submissions may include, but are not limited to:
- Manuscript submitted without a cover letter;
- Manuscript submitted in an unreadable or incomplete file;
- Missing author information;
- Missing corresponding author email address;
- Missing abstract or references;
- Missing figures or tables mentioned in the text;
- Missing ethical, funding, or conflict-of-interest declarations where required.
Submissions without a cover letter may not receive a response from the editorial office. Authors should carefully check all files and required information before sending their manuscript.
After Submission
After receiving a complete submission, the editorial office conducts an initial administrative and technical check. The manuscript is then evaluated for suitability according to the aims and scope of Journal of New Technology and Materials.
The initial editorial screening normally takes approximately 7 days. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening may be sent for single-blind peer review. The peer-review process normally takes approximately 60 days, depending on reviewer availability, manuscript complexity, and revision requirements.
Authors will be contacted by the editorial office regarding the editorial decision or any required corrections.
Peer Review
Journal of New Technology and Materials follows a single-blind peer-review process. In this process, the reviewers know the identity of the authors, but the identities of reviewers are kept confidential from the authors.
The review process evaluates the originality, scientific quality, methodology, clarity, ethical compliance, and relevance of the manuscript to the journal’s scope.
Revision Submission
If revision is requested, authors should submit the revised manuscript together with a detailed response letter. The response letter should address each reviewer and editor comment point by point and explain the changes made in the revised manuscript.
Revised files should be submitted according to the instructions provided in the editorial decision letter.
Acceptance and Publication
Once a manuscript is accepted, it proceeds to the production stage. The production process may include copyediting, formatting, metadata preparation, proof checking, and final online publication.
The usual time from acceptance to publication is approximately 10 days, provided that authors respond promptly to proof corrections and no major production issues arise.
Accepted papers are published in the current available issue once they are ready for publication.
Publication Charges
Journal of New Technology and Materials is a diamond open access journal. The journal does not charge authors any submission fee, article processing charge, peer-review fee, publication fee, page charge, or colour figure charge.
Authors may submit, revise, and publish their work without payment.
Open Access License
Articles published in Journal of New Technology and Materials are made available under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. Published articles may be read, downloaded, copied, shared, distributed, adapted, and reused, provided that proper credit is given to the original author(s), the article, the journal, and the publisher.
